Our Story

Originally from Toronto, Paul and Andreas began to collaborate on sourcing for the Montreal market and quickly developed a shared passion for the city and it’s highly collaborative tech community. Whether it was working with some of Canada’s most promising startups or with major clients in the enterprise consulting and banking space, Paul and Andreas’s collective experience led them to envision a talent sourcing platform that tech stakeholders such as yourself deserve.

Montreal’s vibrant culture, rich history and status as a burgeoning tech hub represented the ideal home for this vision. They could not be more excited about calling “La Metropole” their new home.

Meet The Team

Paul de Pass

Co-founder

Paul’s passions for connecting people is what had initially attracted him to the recruitment industry and would inspire him to create Tali. He’s energized by social integration and applying that to discover different ways to find the right fit for both candidates and clients alike. As an ex-athlete turned entrepreneur, his business philosophy is guided by a belief in teamwork and collaborative growth.  When he’s not focused on staffing, you’ll likely hear him maundering about the significance of Bruce Springsteen or telling anyone who will listen that this is the year the Maple Leafs finally win the cup (it’s this year).

Andreas Koustas

Co-founder

Andreas’s fascination with technology can be traced back to the first time he stole his brother’s Gameboy in 1992. His passion for technology would lead him to completing his Master’s degree, which was focused on the emergence of IoT technology. He saw the tech recruiting space as an ideal way to transition his interest in technological entrepreneurship from the library to the boardroom and work directly with the tech community. His (overly long) career in academia has given him an appreciation for continued learning and he is always looking for creative ways to exchange knowledge. For him, starting Tali grew from a desire to create a talent network that would be better informed and connect all members of the tech community.

Keeping up to date on major tech and gadget news remains his primary hobby, but occasionally he finds time to obsess about photography.
